Steps to Secure Your Spot
1) Read and review all of the information on this page. It's important that you understand all program policies, requirements and surgery day instructions before proceeding.
2) Complete the intake and agreement form below. If you have multiple cats that need to be sterilized, please complete a separate Intake and Agreement form for each cat.
3) Submit your payment. Complete your payment using the payment form below.
We use a secure payment method through Zeffy as it is a zero fee platform built for approved charity organizations.
Tax receipts:
Tax receipts are available for any donation added before completing your payment. If you would like to make a donation, you can add one under the "Add a donation to support Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue" section before completing your payment. Tax receipts for donations are automatically generated and emailed to you.
Optional Zeffy contribution:
See photo below before completing your payment. Additional fees to “help keep Zeffy free” are 100% optional. This does not support our rescue.
Select "Other" in the first drop down menu and then enter $0 under "Contribution" if you do not wish to support Zeffy.

4) Join our private Facebook group: www.facebook.com/groups/tbmkrspayneuter
Joining our private Facebook group is required for communication purpose and in order to receive surgery day dates, updates and reminders.
5) Watch for available surgery dates. Available surgery dates will be posted in the private Facebook group. We will tag everyone when a surgery date becomes available so that group members receive a notification. If the surgery date works for you, you must respond to the post to claim an available spot. Appointments will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. We will keep a short waitlist to help fill any last-minute cancellations. Our goal is to have every cat scheduled for surgery as soon as appointment availability allows

We must follow a strict schedule because the clinic requires all cats to arrive by a specific time. No exceptions.

Evening Pickup Policy
Time: 5 PM
Location: Ultramar Gas Station - 1950 McConnell Avenue, Cornwall, ON K6H 5R6
Please ensure you're available for this pickup time as it’s important that your cat returns home as soon as possible to rest, recover and have access to their litter box.
Photo ID will be required when picking up your cat. If someone else is picking up on your behalf, their full name must be provided to us in advance.
Carrier Policy
Your cat must arrive at our drop-off location in a clean, hard plastic pet carrier.
The carrier must be in 100% functioning condition. No broken doors, latches or gaps where the cat could escape.
The carrier must be completely clean: no dirt or debris.
One cat per carrier. No sharing allowed!
The carrier must be sized appropriately for your cat. No kitten carriers for adults, no dog crates or oversized carriers (our vehicles can’t fit them safely).
Fabric or soft carriers are NOT permitted under any circumstances.
These are vet-mandated rules for sanitary and safety reasons.

Cat Food Required for Surgery Day
Bring one portion of your cat’s dry food in a small ziploc type bag. Label it with your cat’s name and "Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue" in permanent marker.
This lets vet staff feed them after surgery so they don’t go hungry. Be sure to use something disposable as it is likely to be thrown out at the end of the day.
Fasting before surgery: Adult cats are required to fast. No food after midnight the night before surgery.
Kittens under six months old are not required to fast.
Blankets / Towels Required for Surgery Day
You will need at least two clean, small blankets or towels per cat. One blanket / towel must line the carrier for the trip.
One spare (or more) in its own separate disposable garbage bag. Label the bag with your cat’s name and "Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue" in permanent marker.
Blankets/towels must be sized appropriately for the vet to wrap around your cat to keep them warm as they wake up from anesthesia.
Vet may discard soiled blankets/towels so use ones you’re okay losing.
Why Microchip Your Cat?
Microchipping significantly increases the chance of cats being reunited with their families if they become lost. Even 100% indoor cats can accidentally get outside, so it’s an important safeguard for every cat.
Having your cat microchipped while they are already under anesthesia for their spay or neuter is an ideal time, as they won’t feel the implantation.
If you would like to have your cat microchipped, please be sure to select the microchip add-on before completing your payment.
Important: If you choose to have your cat microchipped, you must register it on the microchip company’s website after the appointment. Registration requires your contact details and your cat’s information. An unregistered microchip is not linked to your contact information, so it cannot help reunite you with your cat if they become lost.
Spay / Neuter Tattoo
As part of the spay/neuter procedure, your cat will receive a small line tattoo on their abdomen. This is a standard way of indicating that your cat has been spayed or neutered and can help prevent unnecessary surgery in the future.
Free Optional Nail Trimming
Free nail trimming is available during your cat’s spay / neuter while they're under anesthesia. Their nails may be trimmed shorter than your cat is used to. This is normal. They may have less grip for a short time while recovering from anesthesia. A nail trim does not mean your cat has been declawed.
If you would like your cat’s nails trimmed, please select "Yes, I would like my cat's nails trimmed" on the Intake and Agreement Form below.
Free Optional Ear-Tipping
Ear tipping is the removal of a small portion of the tip of one ear while a cat is under anesthesia. It provides a clear visual indication that a community or outdoor cat has already been spayed or neutered.
If you would like your cat to be ear tipped, please select "Yes, I would like my cat ear-tipped" on the Intake and Agreement Form below.
Post-Surgery Responsibility
Following surgery, you are responsible for monitoring your cat's recovery. Watch for redness, swelling, heat at the incision, as well as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite, or any other unusual symptoms. If you notice anything concerning, contact your veterinarian immediately. Any follow-up veterinary care or treatment required after your cat is returned to your care is your responsibility.
